Welcome to the official website for Dodgertown West. A member of the Mens Senior Baseball League (MSBL), Dodgertown West began simply in 1984 with pick up ball games between a small group of guys who had recently attended the Los Angeles Dodgers Adult Baseball Camp. The camaraderie and fellowship of the camp was such that these guys wanted to continue it on a regular basis. From barely enough players to form just two teams in '84, the league has now grown to include over 200 registered players who play on six teams year round.

Dodgers Close Camp Survey
Los Angeles - August 31.

The Dodgers have closed their survey with regard to the Adult Baseball Camps and the reinstatement of that 25-year tradition. They will now compile the results and make a decision as to whether to hold the next camp in February or November 2011. That decision will be posted as soon as the information is released. Stay tuned!

4th Annual "Survivor Banner Island" - Stockton Fantasy Baseball Tournament
Hey DTW! Once again we’ve been invited to participate with our Giants’ friends and others in this their 4th Annual "Survivor Banner Island" - Stockton Fantasy Baseball Tournament which will be held September 24-26, 2010. This tournament is played on two minor league fields in the Stockton area: Banner Island Ballpark, home of the Oakland A's Single A minor league affiliate Stockton Ports, and historic Billy Hebert Field, the last standing minor league ballpark that Babe Ruth played in, the original home of the “Mudville Nine”, and the former home of the Ports until they moved in 2005.
Dodgers Adult Camp, Camelback Ranch - Feb 6-12
Yes we're closer to getting those wonderful camps back as the Dodgers have set Feb. 6-12 as the tentative dates for Spring 2011 camp which will be held at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Arizona. To help make this a reality, all veteran campers are urged to email us with your desire to attend and complete the survey you will be getting from the Dodgers directly. This will go a long way to demonstrating what the camps mean to us all.

Wouldn't You Know The Dodgers Would Be Involved
As I watched and listened as the Dodgers blew a 7-run lead only to end up losing the game to the Phillies, I thought about the various events in baseball history that I've heard Vinney describe in which the Dodgers have been involved. I thought some of you might also be interested and so the topic for today's Stoney's Corner. . . . "Wouldn't You Know The Dodgers Would Be Involved"!
